Datalogic PowerScan PD9630 DPX Barcode Scanner (PD9630-DPXK2)

The Datalogic PowerScan PD9630 is a rugged corded 2D handheld imager from Datalogic's PowerScan 9600 series, built for warehouses, manufacturing, automotive and logistics. It withstands 50 drops from 2.5 m onto concrete, is sealed to IP65 and IP67 against dust and water, and its trigger is rated for 10 million pulls. The multi-interface electronics connect via USB or RS232 (depending on the cable), and the scanner is backed by a 3-year (36-month) Datalogic warranty. This version, PD9630-DPXK2, has DPX direct part marking (DPM) optics – white, red and blue illumination for laser-etched, dot-peened, inkjet-printed and electrochemically etched marks on metal and plastic parts, and is supplied with a coiled RS232 cable (K2 kit) – the external power supply needed for RS232 is not included.

• Balanced, ergonomic design – a low centre of gravity and a weight of only about 320 g reduce fatigue during all-day scanning.
• Multi-interface electronics – USB and RS232 on board: simply choose the matching PowerScan 9600-series cable – straight or coiled, from 2 m to 4.5 m, as well as powered USB and USB-C.
• Free configuration tools – set up the scanner with the Datalogic Aladdin utility, integrate it using the OPOS / JavaPOS utilities and extend cover with Datalogic EASEOFCARE service plans.
