Zebra RFD90 RFID Barcode Scanner (RFD9091-G60G700-E8)

The Zebra RFD90 is an ultra-rugged UHF RFID sled built for the toughest jobs in manufacturing, transportation, logistics and warehousing. Mounted on a rugged Zebra mobile computer with an eConnex™ or Bluetooth adapter – or paired over Bluetooth 5.3 with almost any Android, iOS or Windows device – it delivers more than 1,300 tag reads per second, an ultra-accurate item-finder mode, its own 7000 mAh battery and dual IP65/IP67 sealing. This version, RFD9091-G60G700-E8, is the RFD90 Premium Plus – RFD9090 Long Range (linear polarized Yagi antenna, nominal read range ~22.9 m) with an integrated SE4850 extended-range 1D/2D imager, and it works in the European 865–868 MHz UHF band (EU version).

• Connects to almost any device – eConnex™ adapters for rugged Zebra mobile computers, Bluetooth adapters for models without eConnex, and integrated Bluetooth 5.3 (SPP, HID, Apple iAP2/MFi) for Android, iOS and Windows devices; pair via NFC tap-to-pair, pair by camera or Scan-To-Connect.
• Wi-Fi 6 remote management – deploy firmware and configuration updates over the air, even when no mobile computer or smartphone is attached.
• All-shift power – the quick-release PowerPrecision+ 7000 mAh battery keeps the sled going hour after hour; spare batteries charge in a 4-slot charger or a multi-slot cradle.
• Future-proof adapters and cradles – change the adapter quickly when you move to a new mobile computer; cradle cups swap with a single coin screw and charge the sled, the mobile computer or both together. Single-slot communication cradles have Micro-USB, multi-slot cradles Ethernet for device management.
• Easy integration – RFD90 SDKs are based on current Zebra RFID handheld SDKs (only a recompile is needed); configure sleds with 123RFID Desktop or 123RFID Mobile via cable cup or Bluetooth, or use the sled as a tethered RFID reader on a Windows PC.

Which version is right for you? The RFD9030 Standard Range (RFD9031-…) is ideal for cycle counting and item locating at normal working distances, while the RFD9090 Long Range (RFD9091-…) reads tags on high racking and across large areas. Choose the SE4750MR imager for everyday barcode distances or the SE4850 extended-range imager to scan labels far away.
