Zebra MP7200 Countertop Barcode Scanner (MP7200-MNS0N000WW)

The Zebra MP7200 (MP72 Series) is Zebra's latest multi-plane (bioptic) in-counter scanner, built for the fastest possible checkout in high-volume lanes and at self-checkouts. Mounted flush in the checkout counter, it reads virtually every 1D, 2D, GS1 Digital Link and Digimarc barcode – on labels, packaging and phone screens – through its horizontal and vertical scan windows, so cashiers and customers rarely need to turn an item. This version, MP7200-MNS0N000WW, has a medium (398 mm) platter and sapphire scan glass. It is supplied as the scanner only – the host cable and power supply are ordered separately.

• Premium scanning on every plane – a high-resolution megapixel sensor and Zebra's PRZM Intelligent Imaging read virtually any 1D, 2D, GS1 DataBar, GS1 Digital Link and Digimarc barcode on paper labels, packaging and phone screens – even poorly printed, damaged, crinkled or faded codes.
• Up to 2× larger fields of view – high swipe speeds and fields of view up to 100% larger than other scanners in its class mean there is less need to position barcodes carefully; offset illumination makes reflective phone screens and glossy packaging easy to scan.
• Non-Decode Event alerts – trigger an alert in your POS or loss-prevention software whenever an item passes through the field of view without a barcode being scanned, whether accidental or intentional.
• EAS support – compatible with Checkpoint and Sensormatic EAS deactivation systems: one swipe captures the price and deactivates the tag; Checkpoint Interlock (optional cable) only deactivates a tag when the barcode has been scanned.
• Good-decode LED on the front and top – cashiers, self-checkout attendants and overhead loss-prevention cameras can confirm every successful scan.
• Eye-friendly and energy-efficient – the recessed intelligent illumination is dimmed when no item is in the scan zone, so the MP72 uses up to 50% less power than other bioptic scanners (2.0 W idle, 2.75 W active, typical).
• Three standard sizes – short (351 mm), medium (398 mm) and long (506 mm) platters drop right into existing cash-wrap cut-outs; choose sapphire or DLC-coated glass, and a spill-proof design protects against inevitable spills.
• Built for maximum uptime – over 50% fewer interconnects and PCBs than other multi-plane scanners, solid-state technology and Zebra Remote Diagnostics for illumination, sensors, cameras and boards keep repairs to a minimum.
• Connects to any POS – one shared POS port for USB, RS232 or IBM 46xx (RS485) with auto-host-detect cables, plus three USB and two powered RS232 peripheral ports for a handheld scanner, a Checkpoint Interlock port and a remote scale display port.
• Zebra DataCapture DNA – 123Scan, Scanner SDK, Scanner Management Service (SMS), Advanced Data Formatting and IoT Connector; selectable label identifiers can, for example, convert a QR code into Code 128 to avoid exceptions.
