Zebra DS8108 2D Barcode Scanner (DS8108-SR7U2100AZW)

The Zebra DS8108 is the corded model of Zebra's premium DS8100 Series of handheld imagers. An 800 MHz processor, a megapixel sensor and Zebra's exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging instantly capture virtually every 1D and 2D barcode – including dense, poorly printed, crinkled, faded, dirty or damaged codes and electronic barcodes on dimly lit phone screens – and UPC codes are read from up to 61 cm away. The scanner also reads Digimarc digital watermarks and is backed by a 5-year (60-month) Zebra warranty. This version, DS8108-SR7U2100AZW, has the Standard Range (SR) imager, comes in Twilight Black and is supplied with a USB cable, ready to plug in and scan.

• Preferred Symbol and Multi-Code Data Formatting – on items with several barcodes, output only the barcode you need, or capture several barcodes with one trigger pull and send them in the order your application expects.
• ScanSpeed Analytics – captures the symbology and scan speed of every barcode, plus an image of the slowest-to-scan barcode, so you can find and fix problem barcodes before they slow down the checkout.
• Handheld or hands-free – place the scanner in the optional Gooseneck Intellistand (20-71043-04R) and it switches to hands-free presentation mode automatically.
• Plug and play – auto-host-detect cables select USB, RS232, Keyboard Wedge or IBM 46XX automatically. Uses the same Zebra cables as the DS4608, DS2208 and LS2208, supports more than 90 international keyboards and is FIPS 140-2 certified.
• Built to last – withstands multiple 1.8 m drops to concrete and 2,000 tumbles, IP52 sealing protects against dust and spills, and the Zebra warranty runs for 60 months.
• Free management tools – configure with 123Scan, update firmware and settings remotely with Scanner Management Service (SMS) – no depot staging required – and integrate scanning into your applications with the Zebra Scanner SDK for Windows, Android, iOS and Linux (Zebra DataCapture DNA).
