The Zebra DS2278 is a cordless Bluetooth® 2D handheld barcode scanner that reads virtually every 1D and 2D barcode – on paper labels as well as on mobile phone screens – with simple point-and-shoot, omnidirectional scanning. Its 2,400 mAh battery easily lasts a full shift, it pairs with PCs, tablets and smartphones in a single step, and it is backed by a 3-year (36-month) Zebra warranty. This version, DS2278-SR7U2100PRW, comes in Twilight Black and is the presentation cradle kit: it is supplied with the CR2278 presentation cradle (Bluetooth charging and communication base) and a USB cable – everything you need to start scanning cordlessly at your PC or POS.

• Direct Decode Indicator – the illumination on the barcode flashes on a good read, so staff know instantly that the scan worked, even in a noisy store.

• Easy to deploy – pre-configured out of the box; the cradle uses the same auto-host-detect Zebra cables as the LS2208 and DS2208 (USB, RS232, keyboard wedge, IBM 46XX). Supports more than 90 international keyboards, and beeper, LED and symbology settings can be controlled from Windows, Android and iOS hosts.
