The Zebra CS60-HC (CS6080-HC) is Zebra's ultra-compact healthcare companion scanner with a first-of-its-kind convertible design: swap the battery for the corded USB converter – or back – at any time, and the same scanner works as a cordless Bluetooth® pocket scanner at the point of care, a corded handheld scanner in the pharmacy or a hands-free presentation scanner in the lab. Its disinfectant-ready Healthcare White housing with IP65 sealing withstands wipe-downs with the widest selection of aggressive hospital disinfectants, the safe green LED aimer can be used even in the NICU, and a 1280 × 960 megapixel sensor with Zebra's PRZM Intelligent Imaging reads the barcodes on patient wristbands, medication vials, IV bags and specimen trays at the first attempt. A 3-year (36-month) Zebra warranty is included. This version, CS6080-HCKF00BVZWW, is the corded USB scanner: it comes with the corded USB converter cable installed in place of the battery – plug it into a USB port and start scanning; no stand is included.

• Safe throughout the hospital – the circular green LED aimer (no laser) can be used in the NICU, labour and delivery and mother-baby units, and the scanner's built-in lamp doubles as a workstation light, so there is no need to turn on the overhead lights and wake sleeping patients.
• Night Mode with vibration – a quick trigger press toggles between an audible beep and silent vibration, so clinicians know a wristband or vial was scanned without disturbing patients; plus Direct Decode Indicator, good-decode LED and a beeper with adjustable tone and volume.
• UDI Scan+ and Blood Bag Parse+ – automatically parses Unique Device Identification (UDI) data on medical device packaging into the right fields of your application, and captures all the data on a blood bag – blood type, donation date and location, expiry date – with a single scan.
• Pocketable and wearable – at just 87 g (cordless) or 58 g (corded) and 2.3 cm thin, the CS60-HC fits in a scrub pocket and naturally in the hand; with the optional lanyard and silicone protector it can be worn comfortably all shift long.
• Bluetooth 5.0 with 100 m range – Class 1 Bluetooth with BLE for up to 100 m of roaming from the cradle, split-second NFC tap-to-pair with phones and tablets, and Wi-Fi friendly mode that keeps the scanner off the channels used by your Wi-Fi network; an MFi-certified version is available for iOS.
• Full-shift power and Qi charging – the 745 mAh battery delivers up to 18 hours or 13,000 scans per charge, is swapped without tools and has a dedicated battery gauge; contactless inductive charging needs no contact cleaning, and any off-the-shelf Qi pad can charge the scanner.
• Second programmable button – instantly toggle between two host applications, such as the electronic medical record (EMR) and a blood collection application, and send data in the right format and order.
