The Honeywell Orbit HF680 is a hands-free 2D presentation scanner for retail and hospitality checkouts. Its megapixel area imager reads 1D and 2D barcodes – including codes on phone screens and damaged labels – the moment they are presented, while the tilting scan head and the option to simply pick the scanner up make it easy to scan large or bulky items. This version, HF680-R1-1USB-EU, has a black housing and is supplied with a 1.5 m USB cable – the scanner is powered via USB, so you can plug it in and start scanning right away.

Not sure which version you need? Choose a USB kit for PCs, tablets and modern POS systems – the scanner is powered via USB, so no power supply is needed. Choose an RS232 kit for POS terminals and cash registers with a serial port; it includes the required power supply with an EU or UK plug.
