Honeywell Granit 1990i Barcode Scanner (1990IXR-3USB-R)
Regular price 517,92 € +VAT

The Honeywell Granit XP 1990i is an ultra-rugged corded 2D handheld scanner built for warehouses, manufacturing plants, cold storage and logistics yards. It reads damaged and poor-quality 1D and 2D barcodes, survives 3 m drops to concrete and 7,000 tumbles, and is sealed to IP65 and IP67. The scanner is backed by a 3-year (36-month) Honeywell warranty. This version, 1990IXR-3USB-R, has Extended Range (XR) FlexRange optics (from close-up codes to 100 mil barcodes at 10 m) and is supplied with a 3 m straight USB cable, ready to plug in and scan.

📦 What's in the box – 1990IXR-3USB-R

  • ✅ Honeywell Granit 1990i scanner – Extended Range (XR), Red / black
  • ✅ USB cable – Type A, straight, 3 m, Honeywell CBL-500-300-S00
  • ❌ Stand / holder – not included

💡 Need a place for the scanner? Add the Honeywell flexible stand STND-33F00-012-4 for hands-free scanning, the holder HOLDER-010-U for desk or wall mounting, or the tool balancer TOOLBAL to suspend the scanner above a workstation or on a vehicle.

Key Features

  • Ultra-rugged design – survives 3 m (10 ft) drops to concrete (MIL-STD-810G) and 7,000 tumbles from 1 m.
  • IP65 and IP67 sealing – dust-tight and protected against water jets and temporary immersion; the small, deeply recessed scan window is scratch- and impact-resistant.
  • Extended Range (XR) optics with FlexRange technology – one scanner for close-up and distant codes: from 3 mil Code 39 in the hand to 13 mil UPC at 1.5 m, 70 mil Code 128 at 7.2 m and 100 mil Code 39 at 10 m.
  • Reads damaged and poor-quality barcodes – Honeywell's imaging platform and decoding algorithms read damaged, dirty and poorly printed labels at the first attempt – standard 1D, PDF, 2D, Postal, Digimarc, DotCode and OCR.
  • Works from −30 °C to 50 °C – in freezers, cold stores, outdoor docks and hot production halls (use an industrial-grade cable for the full temperature range).
  • Fast, intuitive scanning – motion tolerance of up to 4.5 m/s and omnidirectional reading for quick point-and-shoot use.
  • Clear feedback in noisy environments – bright good-decode LEDs, a beeper with adjustable tone and volume, and adjustable vibration.
  • Flexible connectivity – USB, RS-232 and keyboard wedge, depending on the cable used; works with the standard Honeywell CBL-500 (USB) and CBL-020 (RS232) cables.
  • Easy management – deploy and update scanners automatically with Honeywell Scanner Management Utility (SMU) and get on-demand scan insights with Honeywell Operational Intelligence.

Ideal Applications

  • Warehouses and distribution centres – receiving, put-away, picking, inventory and shipping
  • Manufacturing and automotive – work-in-process, parts tracking and quality control
  • Cold storage and food processing – freezer rooms and wash-down areas (with an industrial-grade cable)
  • Logistics yards, ports and outdoor areas – scanning in dust, rain and snow
  • Forklift and high-bay scanning – reading labels on the upper rack levels (XR and XLR versions)

Not sure which version you need? Choose SR for near-field scanning of 1D and 2D codes at workstations and on production lines, XR to read everything from small close-up labels to large codes at up to 10 m, and XLR for distances of up to 24 m – from a forklift to the top of high-bay racks. All versions use the same Honeywell cables: if you do not already have one, choose a version with a USB or RS232 cable included, and for freezers and use down to −30 °C add an industrial-grade cable.
