The Evolis Primacy 2 PM2-0008 is a single-sided plastic card printer for employee and student ID badges, access-control and membership cards, loyalty cards and event passes. It prints edge-to-edge in colour (dye sublimation) or monochrome (resin thermal transfer) at 300 dpi, also handles rewritable cards and delivers up to 280 colour cards per hour. This version has an LED control panel and connects via USB and Ethernet. A factory-fitted SpringCard Crazy Writer HSP encoder programs contactless cards (MIFARE, DESFire, NFC) in the same pass.

⚠️ Please note: no ribbon and no blank cards are included. To start printing, please order an Evolis High Trust ribbon for the Primacy 2 – e.g. Evolis ribbon, YMCKO (R5F208E100) – and blank CR80 cards such as Plastic cards (C4001).
💡 Useful extras: the Evolis S10212 card lamination module for durable, tamper-evident cards; the Evolis S10388 200-card feeder; the Evolis PMY2-KTDS upgrade kit to switch to dual-sided printing; the Evolis Advanced Cleaning Kit (ACL002) for regular cleaning.
