Datalogic Magellan 9550i Counter Scanner (957011001-00351)

The Datalogic Magellan 9550i is a multi-plane (bi-optic) in-counter barcode scanner for high-volume checkouts. Its horizontal and vertical windows read 1D and 2D barcodes seamlessly on all sides of an item – 2D codes up to 45% faster than the previous Magellan bi-optic generation – with out-of-the-box GS1 Digital Link support, while drawing less power than a light bulb (2.6 W operating). It uses the same form factor, power supply and interface cables as earlier Magellan bi-optic scanners, so it drops straight into existing checkstands. This version, 957011001-00351, is the short scanner (35.6 cm) with shelf mount, supplied as a ready-to-run kit with a USB cable (external power type), power supply and EU power cord.

• Loss prevention – integrated EAS antenna support for Checkpoint and Nedap and a Sensormatic deactivation controller; other factory configurations add an in-bonnet USB color camera for AI workflows such as produce recognition.

Not sure which version you need? All Magellan 9550i versions use the same bi-optic imaging engine. First choose the size: the short scanner (957011001…) for compact checkouts, the medium Adaptive Scale version (957022201…) with flip-up produce rail, or the long scanner (957013101) with fixed produce rail and flange mount.
