The BIXOLON XT5-40NR (XT5-40NRES) is a 4-inch industrial thermal transfer label printer with a built-in UHF RFID encoder that prints and encodes RFID smart labels in a single pass – at 203 dpi and up to 356 mm/s (14 ips). It takes label rolls up to 203 mm (8") on 1.5"–3" cores and 450 m ribbons, speaks ZPL II, EPL and DPL via BPL-Z™/BPL-E™/BPL-D™ emulation and connects via USB, RS-232, Gigabit Ethernet and two USB host ports, with a 4.3-inch colour touch LCD. The power supply is built in; a USB cable is optional – check the power cord note in the box below.

💡 Useful extras: ribbons up to 450 m on a 1" core, ink inside or outside, e.g. the Zebra 2300 (02300BK11045, 110 mm × 450 m); the optional peeler, auto cutter or rewinder + peeler (ask us for availability); a spare BIXOLON AE04-00043A-AS printhead; BIXOLON PCP-R200II/STD printhead cleaning pens.
