Both models read with the same CM66 imager and use the same scanner settings in the Quick Settings app, including Acuscan Decoding for closely spaced labels. Newland lists the same accessories for both: the BTY95L battery, the MT93 charging cradle, the charging and communication cradle, the 4-slot battery charger, pistol grips and holsters.
