The Newland WD4 (Nwear by Newland) is a lightweight Bluetooth® ring scanner worn on the finger, so both hands stay free for picking, carrying and packing. Its 2D imager reads 1D and 2D barcodes, the rotating scan head fits the left or right hand, and a light press of the thumb triggers each scan. The WD4 connects via Bluetooth 5.0 to Android, iOS and Windows smartphones, tablets, mobile computers and PCs, and its 670 mAh battery lasts a full shift. This version, WD4-BS20-SR, is supplied with a magnetic USB charging cable – ready to pair and scan.

💡 How it connects: the WD4 pairs directly with your smartphone, tablet, mobile computer or PC via Bluetooth 5.0 and types scanned data like a keyboard (HID) – no base station, driver or app needed. The free Newland EasyConnect app (Android, iOS, Windows) makes pairing even easier: simply scan the pairing barcode shown in the app. For a Windows PC without Bluetooth, add the Bluetooth USB dongle (Newland NLS-DG-R). Out of range? In batch mode, more than 16,000 EAN-13 codes are stored in the 1 MB memory for later upload.
🔌 Charging: attach the magnetic cable to the scanner and plug it into a PC USB port or a USB power adapter (Newland ADP710). For several scanners: Newland NLS-SCD20 2-slot charging cradle – charges two WD4 at once (USB-C cable included); up to five cradles can be linked to charge ten scanners from one power supply (Newland AD60-D-M).
