The Newland NVH220 Lophius is an industrial 2D handheld scanner built for direct part marking (DPM): it reads laser-etched and dot-peened Data Matrix codes as well as ordinary printed 1D and 2D barcodes. AI-powered decoding locates and reconstructs damaged, distorted or poorly marked codes, even on reflective and curved surfaces, a versatile multi-light illumination system adapts to every material, and IP64 sealing with 1.8 m drop resistance makes it ready for the production floor and the warehouse. This version, NLS-NVH220-V2-XD, is the NVH220 Lophius AI Corded (second generation, V2) with USB, RS-232 and Ethernet support: it is supplied with a 2 m USB cable and a 5 V power supply – plug it into a USB port and scan right away.

To keep the scanner within reach on a wall or machine, add the Newland NLS-STD-WM001 wall mount clip. For a serial or network connection, add the Newland CBL037R RS-232 cable or the Newland CBL-0275E Ethernet cable (3 m) – the included power supply powers both.
