The Honeywell Granit Ultra 2105i is an ultra-rugged cordless Bluetooth® 2D handheld scanner for warehouses, manufacturing plants, logistics yards and forklift work. Thanks to Honeywell's AI-enhanced decoding it scans on average 45% faster than the Granit XP and reads damaged and poor-quality 1D and 2D barcodes; it survives 3 m drops to concrete and 7,500 tumbles, is sealed to IP65 and IP68, and its 3,300 mAh battery delivers up to 100,000 scans per charge. The scanner is backed by a 3-year Honeywell warranty (battery: 1 year). This version, 2105IXR-3USB-CLHE, has Extended Range (XR) optics (from close-up codes to 100 mil barcodes at up to 10.8 m) and is the USB kit: it is supplied with the CCB23 charge and communication base (Bluetooth base), a 3 m USB cable and the battery – everything you need to start scanning cordlessly at your PC.
📦 What's in the box – 2105IXR-3USB-CLHE
- ✅ Honeywell Granit Ultra 2105i scanner – Extended Range (XR), Red / black
- ✅ Rechargeable battery – Honeywell BAT-SCN11, Li-ion 3,300 mAh – replaceable (spare: Honeywell BAT-SCN11)
- ✅ Charge and communication base (Bluetooth base) – Honeywell CCB23-100BT-07N – horizontal base that charges the scanner and sends the scanned data to your PC or host; IP65 sealed, with a latch for wall or vehicle mounting
- ✅ USB cable – straight, 3 m, Honeywell CBL-500-300-S00 – connects the base to your PC or POS and powers it
- ❌ Power supply – not included (not needed for USB: the base is powered via the USB cable)
- ❌ Stand / holder – not included
💡 Easy setup: connect the base to your PC or host with the included cable, place the scanner in the base to charge it and pair it with the base as described in the Honeywell quick start guide. Up to 7 scanners can be linked to one CCB23 base, with a Class 1 Bluetooth range of up to 100 m line of sight. Drop-in charging is ideal on flat work surfaces, while the latch holds the scanner securely when the base is mounted vertically or on a vehicle.
🔌 Charging time: up to 12 hours from a standard USB 2.0 port, under 4 hours from a USB BC1.2 charging port or with Honeywell's optional 5 V / 3 A power supply PS-05-3000-W-U (available on request).
💡 Need a place for the scanner when it is not in the base? Add the Honeywell industrial holster HOLSTER-INDUSTRIAL for carrying on the belt, the holder HOLDER-010-U for desk or wall mounting, the tool balancer TOOLBAL to suspend the scanner above a workstation, or the vehicle-mount holder VMHOLDER2K for forklifts and other vehicles.
Key Features
- Ultra-rugged design – survives 3 m (10 ft) drops to concrete (MIL-STD-810G), 50 drops from 2 m across the full −30 °C to 50 °C range and 7,500 tumbles from 1 m; the trigger is tested to 3 million activations.
- IP65 and IP68 sealing – dust-tight and protected against water jets and immersion, so the scanner can be cleaned and used in wet and dusty environments.
- Extended Range (XR) optics with near and far imagers – one scanner for close-up and distant codes: 13 mil UPC at up to 1.78 m, 20 mil Code 128 at up to 2.8 m, 100 mil Data Matrix at up to 5.3 m and 100 mil Code 39 at up to 10.8 m.
- 45% faster scanning with AI – high-speed processing, AI algorithms and decoding enhancements make Granit Ultra on average 45% faster than the Granit XP (Honeywell benchmark), even on damaged, dirty and poorly printed barcodes.
- Cordless Bluetooth® freedom – Bluetooth 4.2 with adaptive frequency hopping and a Class 1 radio: up to 100 m line of sight to the CCB23 base, and up to 7 scanners can share one base – ideal for large warehouses, docks and forklifts.
- Full-shift battery – the replaceable 3,300 mAh Li-ion battery (BAT-SCN11) delivers up to 100,000 scans or about 14 hours of operation (at 2 scans per second) per charge; it recharges in under 4 hours from a USB BC1.2 port or a 5 V / 3 A power supply.
- New IP65 charge and communication base – the CCB23 base offers easy drop-in charging on flat work surfaces and a latching mechanism that holds the scanner securely when the base is mounted vertically or on a vehicle; it connects to the host via USB, keyboard wedge or RS-232, depending on the cable.
- Works from −20 °C to 50 °C – in cold stores, on outdoor docks and in hot production halls (charging: 5 °C to 35 °C).
- Multi-code reading and image capture – reads several barcodes in the field of view and outputs the data in a predefined order with Honeywell's Data Format Editor; captures document images at up to 109 PPI on A4.
- Reads virtually every code – 1D, PDF417, 2D (incl. DotCode, Aztec, Data Matrix and QR), postal codes, Digimarc digital watermarks and OCR (OCR-A, OCR-B, MICR E-13B, SEMI).
- Fast, intuitive scanning with clear feedback – motion tolerance of up to 4 m/s, omnidirectional reading, good-decode LEDs, a beeper with adjustable tone and volume, and adjustable vibration for noisy environments.
Ideal Applications
- Warehouses and distribution centres – receiving, put-away, picking, inventory and shipping
- Large warehouses and cross-docks – scanning freely up to 100 m from the base without cables getting in the way
- Manufacturing and automotive – work-in-process, parts tracking and quality control
- Electronics manufacturing – tiny high-density labels on PCBs and components (HD version)
- Logistics yards, ports and outdoor areas – scanning in dust, rain and snow
- Forklift and high-bay scanning – reading labels on the upper rack levels (XR and XLR versions)

Not sure which version you need? For a new workstation choose a USB kit – it includes the scanner, battery, CCB23 charge and communication base and USB cable; for serial hosts choose an RS232 kit. The scanner-only versions are intended as replacement or additional scanners for an existing CCB23 base. Choose SR for everyday 1D and 2D scanning from contact to arm's length, HD for tiny high-density codes down to 2 mil, XR to read everything from close-up labels to large codes at up to 10.8 m, and XLR for distances of up to 30 m – from a forklift to the top of high-bay racks.
